Mark your milestones with calm
A quiet milestone-tracking platform for people who find typical productivity tools loud. Quarterly timeline views, gentle progress indicators, and a deliberate focus on noticing progress — not gamifying it.
Measurable outcomes that transformed Milomark's business.
Most habit and goal-tracking apps optimise for engagement — streaks, points, push notifications, neon green checkmarks shouting at you when you skip a day. That works for a small group of users; for everyone else, it adds anxiety to the very thing they were trying to feel calm about. Milomark wanted to build the opposite: a quiet, deliberate space to notice progress, set intentions, and let goals unfold naturally — without the dopamine slot-machine.
We built Milomark around a quarterly timeline view as the primary interface — your milestones laid out across 90 days, with simple progress rings instead of streak counters. Typography and colour are deliberately restrained. No push notifications by default. Habits, intentions, and milestones share a single timeline so you see the whole quarter at once, not a fragmented dashboard. The whole thing is designed to be opened twice a day, not twelve times.
How we approached this project to deliver exceptional results.
Set a strict 'no engagement bait' design constraint — no streaks, no points, no aggressive colour, no push by default
Designed the quarterly timeline as the home screen — every milestone visible at once, pace of progress legible at a glance
Built a typographic hierarchy and palette that signals 'calm' before you read a word — soft greens, generous whitespace, restrained motion
Implemented a habits + intentions + milestones data model on a single timeline, not three separate trackers
Made twice-a-day usage the design target — short check-ins, long pauses, no anxiety re-engagement loops
Key screens and features from the final product.
Homepage — restrained typography signals the product's tone before you read a word
Mobile timeline — quarterly view, gentle progress rings
